Multitel (MULTITEL)

Multitel is a Belgian non-profit research and innovation centre (Research & Technology Organisation -RTO) with over 25 years of experience helping industry and academia turn advanced technologies into real-world solutions. Based in Wallonia (Belgium) and home to more than 100 highly qualified researchers and an experience in 20+ EU Projects, Multitel is a recognised player in European R&D projects and a committed partner in collaborative innovation. Our expertise is built around five strategic technology areas: • IoT & Embedded Systems: incl drones, fluvial transport, embedded connectivity (4/5G, …), software defined radio, EMC/ ETSI tests (anechoic chamber), energy harvesting... • Networks & Cybersecurity: quantum & post quantum crypto, over the air security, NIS2, CRA, EUCS, wifi site surveying • Applied Photonics: fiber lasers (incl. laser-based sensors), micromachining, biophotonics, optoelectronics, spectrometry, terahertz (3D penetrative imaging), ... • -Artificial Intelligence: computer vision, unstructured data, Sequential modeling / NLP, Deep learning, digital twins, trusted AI, AI Act • Railway Certification: ERTMS tests systems for ETCS (EVC, OBU, Eurobalise, RBC, ...) and certifying tests
