Cortex Machina was met during the technology fair VivaTech in Paris where it was informed about TEF-Health. Cortex Machina's mission is to transform remote EEG monitoring, by lowering costs through reduced reliance on highly skilled personnel, enhancing data quality through innovative technology, and improving user-friendliness through automation and simplification—all with the goal of boosting accessibility and patient care.
At the time, in 2024, the company was looking to conduct EMC testing but were told that they had to face a 6-month delay. Within weeks of our meeting and after a call where the company could explain their exact needs the test were sheduled. All test were performed in Multitel's anechoïc chamber in one day and Cortex Machina got a full report one week later.
The Challenge
Cortex Machina needed to do EMC testing to finalise its CE non medical marking. These tests for product development and pre-certification for radiated emission and immunity (EMC, radiated emission and immunity) were done in Multitel's anechoïc chamber located in Mons (Belgium). The device under test could reach 1,5 m diameter and 1 ton weight, a capacity well above those needed to test the helmet developed by Cortex Machina. Both radiated emission and immunity were tested.
The Story
We had the pleasure of successfully testing our Brain to Computer hardware at the Multitel research center in Mons! One more step in Cortex Machina's progress towards CE marking!
