This service offers a 3D MULTIFACTORIAL INTEGRATED POSTURE and MOVEMENT ANALYSIS using: Optoelectronic systems; wearable inertial measurement units; Force platforms; Baropodometric platform; Surface electromyography; Metabolimeter; portable 3D Laser Scanner. This service, performed in a MOTION ANALYSIS LABORATORY, will offer: 1) DATA ACQUISITION and DATA ELABORATION relative to THE BIOMECHANICS of MOVEMENT for total body analysis (gait, posture, jump, sit to stand, …) and for specific district (upper limb assessment, trunk, hand, face, …) in the clinical/sport/ergonomics fields; 2) CLINICAL SERVICE: DATA ACQUISITION, DATA ELABORATION and REPORT CREATION for Gait Analysis test according to ESMAC standards; 3) DEVICE TESTING to verify the measurement ACCURACY; 4) COURSES and TRAINING for clinicians/technicians working in a motion analysis laboratory. This service provides a complete testing setup for gait analysis, motion capture and IEC 10328 compliance for robotic exoskeletons and prostheses. It also provides support and recommendations about how to design and develop robotic rehabilitation systems compliant to IEC 60601-1 standard. Method Description: The service will perform an assessment of wearable robotics solutions (e.g. exoskeletons and prostheses) by using a combination of the following resources: VICON workstation with 12 cameras, sensorized treadmill, force platforms, surface electromyograph, metabolimeter. Method reference: Tests will be based on standards, most notably IEC 10328, when applicable. Otherwise, based on scientific methods for gait analysis. This service offers the design of usability and clinical trials for the evaluation of exoskeleton both for the assistance of persons with disabilities and for the support of workers. The evaluation is based on a benchmarking scheme of upper limb functions capacity through a Motion Analysis Laboratory equipped with optoelectrontric systems or wearable inertial units, force platforms, surface electromyiograph, baropodometric platform. The service will be provided in collaboration with the clinical center "Villa Beretta" (Lecco).
